Brass Hex Nipple
This hex nipple is ideal for use in plumbing and industrial applications where low-lead fittings are required. Certified for use in potable water applications. Brass pipe nipples are made from solid, lead free brass stock and have male tapered pipe threads on both ends. Brass is very durable and resists corrosion.

Description
The fitting Diameter is measured using the outer Diameter measurement. Easy to install, this pipe fitting is commonly used for low to medium pressure plumbing applications.
Hex nipple for connecting two threaded pipes with same diameters.
Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures.
Relative softness of brass threading when compared to other metals allows for a tight seal.
Can be used to connect various pipes, such as air pipe, fuel pipe, water piping, etc.
All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Brass is susceptible to dezincification and is not recommended for below waterline through hull applications.
